This and much more awaits you at Il Crotto, our restaurant in Lierna where you can enjoy typical local cuisine and enjoy a day of relaxation immersed in nature and local history. The village of Lierna is also a great starting place for excursions to unique nearby attractions: from the famous hiking trail that joins Lecco to Colico along the mountain, to the Black and White Shores and the Longobard Castle.

Owned by the Cattaneo family since the 1950s, Il Crotto was originally an Inn and stables but soon owners Elide and Bruno, understanding the potential of Il Crotto transformed it into the busy, traditional restaurant it is today. Our spacious, rustic rooms envelop you in a warm, welcoming atmosphere that will make you feel you've stepped back in time. Our three rooms are perfect for every occasion and in the main you can admire the chefs in action while they prepare some of the many fresh, seasonal meat, fish and vegetable dishes. During the warmer months you can dine on our beautiful terrace, enjoying a unique view over Lake Como. We also provide a large parking area shaded by 180 year old plane trees next to the restaurant.

A convenient Taxi Boat service is available thanks to the collaboration with Nautica Lierna, ideal for those who want to reach the restaurant from Onno, Bellagio, Limonta and from the neighbouring lakeside villages. A practical, comfortable and charming service, designed for tourists who want to discover the wonderful beauty of Lake Como. We organize tours.
